Does fitness have to be fashionable? Despite being obsessed with clothes, I guess it hasn't really mattered a great deal to me in the past. But - and this probably sounds hella shallow! - putting on something that you actually love for the gym DOES help motivation.
Like a lot of people, I made heading back to the gym one of my New Years Resolutions. After a tumultuous 2013, I'm really trying to make this my year and feeling happy and healthy is a HUGE part of that. I'm been getting lots of inpsiration from Tumblr and my new favourite website Fashercise. I've missed the gym like crazy and I'm loving being back at it!
At the moment, I wear Zaggora Hot Pants and a Nike sports bra to workout but next on my fitness wishlist is some of Charli Cohen's stunning SS14 collection and one of Freya's new cup-sized sports tops. Having cup sizes in a sport bra is so amazing if you have as much boob as I do!
I was lucky enough to get a new addition to my workout wardrobe recently: SportsShoes sent me this gorgeous pair of Nike Dual Fusion trainers to review. This colourway is sold out now but they have loads of other running shoes on the website.
I do love these bad boys but, I'll admit, not quite as much as my Nike Free 5.0 trainers - but my Nike Frees are just basic, boring black and these are much nicer to look at! The Dual Fusions are really comfortable although not quite as flexible and they are a really supportive running shoe. And, actually, I think it does my feet good to mix up the trainers I wear to the gym.
I'm about to pull these on to head there now! What do you wear to exercise?
Let me know in the comments!
My goodness, my work out clothes are AWFUL! I have Adidas trainers that look like they are from the 80s... I treated myself to a padded shoulder strap bra from M&S and it's a DREAM xx

It does make a difference to me I feel, be it shallow....I wear Nike Free Runs, black H&M legging, black H&M or Puma shorts and just a navy Champion t-shirt. Like a gym ninja!
They have some ace sports gear on there.

Oooh they are fit - I can imagine it helps getting out of the front door if you're itching to try a pretty pair out... But it is more about sheer willpower 95% of the time haha! I really need to get myself a visor - not sexy AT ALL but I can't cope with rain in my face when I'm jogging! <3 Claire @ Jazzpad

I'm all about comfort but by that I mean something that I feel good in and that technically does the job - taking comfort in the knowledge that what I'm wearing isn't going to hold me back. For me nothing beats a bit of Sweaty Betty and some New Balance trainers :)

It's totally weird how nice exercise clothes actually do make me like exercise more! I guess everything is better if you look a little bit cute.

I'm glad I came across your blog. I've been going through some of your posts and you cover a lot of interesting and useful topics. So I bookmarked it for future references. This shoes looks sexy and the color is unique. How much does it cost. You will definitely look sexy with leggings and sport tops. Great for jogging too!
